GhazzyTV's Dominating Blow Champion Guide (PoE Settlers of Kalguur 3.25)

Introduction

Dominating Blow has been a staple in the off-meta section of minion builds for a long time. We punch mobs, mobs die and we get friends!
Now, what if we could also howl at the moon and slap big standards down to provide buffs as well? We’d be a cheerleader for our boys. That’s exactly what this build guide is, the Cheerleader Champion.
Strap in boys, because it’s about to get weird. And button intensive. Very button intensive, in fact. If you were looking for your next one-button-build, this is not that.

The build has been cooked up in cooperation with Lollash as a variant of his character that is a pure buff support.

Pros

+ Suppression capped minions – Unlike most builds, we will actually be providing the boys with Suppression through Defiance Banner

+ Movement Speed We are zooming around due to a scaled Defiance Banner. We’re reaching upwards of 270% in low budget.

+ Unique Play Style Warcries and Banners are not traditional parts of Minion builds. This one is very Unique in that sense.

Cons

– Unique Play Style Warcries and Banners require an active playstyle and a lot of buttons.

– Button Intensive This build presses a lot, and I mean a lot, of buttons.

Play Style

The playstyle of this build is a bit untraditional and I will try to cover each aspect of how it plays sufficiently that it will make sense to you guys. We smack things with Dominating Blow to spawn sentinels, and we place banners to get suppression, movement speed and damage. In order to keep these banners up we warcry to generate valor stages. The warcries in question also provide the minions (and ourselves) with buffs. Essentially we are our own buff support, we just happen to have minions to help deal damage.
This all comes together through the infinite power from Redblade Banner, a banner mastery for gain valor on warcry, Champions Inspirational notable for gaining valor upon leaving the banner area and modifiers to scaling maximum valor and % valor gain. It combines to a whole of warcry-gain power-place banner-zoom around-warcry-new banner-zoom more. It will take a little bit of time to become truly comfortable with, but I assure you it works just fine.

Damage Scaling And Defensive Layers

As mentioned above, we scale our damage through the use of warcries and banners. Ancestral Cry Provides extra elemental resistance and +2 strikes. Enduring Cry Provides life regeneration and Endurance charges. Battlemage's Cry provides the minions with critical strike chance.
War Banner provides us with massive damage boost and Defiance Banner provides us with massive movement speed and spell suppression cap.
On top of that we run a Blood Demon spectre for Pride aura.
